Fake News: Scraped “Best” Slot Game Payouts
The true news media report honestly and fairly after reviewing the facts. But some so-called online news outlets can be simply cleverly disguised purveyors of poorly researched and written drivel that is sometimes created with AI and computer-assisted “scraper” programs that scour the internet in search of article-related keywords.
13 Best Online Slots
The complete title for this “sponsored content” (paid advertisement) is actually “13 Best Online Slots to Play for Real Money, High RTP, and Cool Visuals“. But don’t go to that news outlet to get any real facts. The article is simply a link list to online casinos which contains a compilation of a few images and highlighted tidbits of information usually followed by a couple of paragraphs of generalized information about the game and casino that offers it.
But don’t expect anything of actual news value. The telling part of the article is at the tail end of the title. When you have to resort to including “cool visuals” as a reason to gamble, you know you’ve got yourself some useless information. Don’t waste your time either going to the site or reading the article. Below I will explain why and then give you some useful and factual information.
The So-Called Best Slots
Your reasons for playing slot games are certainly not the same as mine and everyone else’s. However, one of my primary aims is to win money. As such game payout ratios and expected return to player (RTP) data would top my list.
Even though this was not stated, the real reason this article was put together was to give links to online casinos where players from the USA can play games for real money. At least that (unsaid) part of the story is correct. All the casinos welcome USA players.
But the writer (computer) apparently cannot even count, because there were 14 games on the list.
Rating | Game | Highlight | Casino |
1 | Jackpot Cleopatra’s Gold | 95.03% RTP | Red Dog |
2 | Cyberpunk City | Game Features | Cafe Casino |
3 | 3X Gold’N | Number of Games | EveryGame |
4 | Mr Macau | 97.07% RTP | Super Slots |
5 | Jackpot Pinatas Deluxe | Bonuses | Las Atlantis |
6 | 777 Deluxe | 96.47% RTP | Ignition Casino |
7 | Mystic Elements | 96% RTP | Bovada |
8 | Golden Buffalo | 95% RTP | Slots LV |
9 | Jungle Stripes | 97.03% RTP | Wild Casino |
10 | Asgard Deluxe | Game Features | Slots Empire |
11 | Achilles | 95% RTP | El Royale |
12 | Legend of the Nile | 95.63% RTP | Big Spin Casino |
13 | Rise of the Titans | 96.50% RTP | BetOnline |
Here are some other discrepancies that really show to me that you are advised to disregard this type of news article.
- Jackpot Cleopatra’s Gold – The payout ratio for this #1 game is shown as a 95.03% RTP. But later in the artilce it is stated as being a 91.63% RTP. If the top rated game infromation can’t even be consistent, why would you give credence to anything else. (The RTP is acutally 95.03%).
- Asgard Deluxe – The article also recaps which games they belive to have the highest RTP. Asgard Deluxe is shown as a 97.36% RTP. But this is an RTG game, they do not list the payout ratioes of their games. Even so, the RTP is reported elsewhere as being 96%.
- Secret Jungle – The recap also states that Secret Jungle (at Red Dog) has a 100.08% RTP. Not so! It is another RTG game that some people says has a 95% RTP.
- The Three Stooges – Also in the recap, The Three Stooges (at Red Dog) has a 109.5% RTP. This is also another RTG game with a supposed 96% RTP.
- Spirit of the Inca – Another erroneous fact in the recap is the RTG Spirit of the Inca slot game with a 91% to 97% RTP. Other people have called it one of the best RTG payouts with a 95% RTP.
- Achilles – Additionaly, the RTG Achilles slot game (at Red Dog) does not have a 97.32% RTP as stated (yup, in the recap). At best is it another 95% RTP game.
- Louisiana Voodoo Queen – The actual 94.43% RTP on the Louisiana Voodoo Queen slot is a far cry from the stated return of this late add-on to the list of 13 best slots. There is an actual slots called “VooDoo” with a 96% RTP, this that isnot he one refered to nor is it avaialbe to USA players.
The Four Best Paying Slots Games
If I was given this data I would not have bothered with most of the crap information that was delivered in this article. The only four important and accurate things revealed were the Fa Fa Fa, Mr. Macau, Jungle Stripes, and Viking Treasures slot games.
The RTP’s given are correct (at least on these games), and they do have the highest payout ratios of all of the slots mentioned in the article.
#1 Fa Fa Fa – 97.1% RTP – Bovada
#2 Mr Macau – 97.07% RTP – Super Slots
#3 Jungle Stripes 97.03% RTP – Wild Casino
#4 Viking Treasures 97.03% RTP – Ignition Casino
Since the purported purpose of the article was to highlight the “Best Slots”, I would not have hidden the #1 and #4 actual best paying RTP games down in the recap. Neither one has even been included in their list of the top 13/14 slots.
The reason is probably that Fa Fa Fa and Viking Treasures slots are actually available at the Cafe Casino, Ignition Casino, Bovada, and Slots LV casinos. These sites belong to the same casino marketing group and have very similar game options. The real purpose of the article was to give one link to each casino and then to fill it in with some sort of rationale to explain why the games are on the list.
Three More Top Paying Slots Games
But wait! The above 4 games are the best paying slots listed in the article. But they are NOT THE TOP RTP GAMES available to USA players. To find the Top 7, you want to read our post “Top Paying Slots for USA Players in 2022“. In it, we have checked and verified the information so we know it’s correct!
